This section is dedicated to the marvelous debacle of translation known as Zero Wing. If
you have heard of "All Your Base are Belong to Us," you should know of this game. In case you
don't, Zero Wing was a sega genesis game made many many years ago. Toaplan, the manufacturer,
had not been doing very successfully. So they developed Zero Wing, a side-scrolling shooter
that they believed would do very well. However, because of their diminishing funds, they
could not hire a decent translator for the U.S. version. The translator, in fact, was still
learning English at the time! The result of Toaplan's many failures is Zero Wing: a good
explanation why Toaplan is not around anymore.
This section contains only screenshots of the game's intro, for all to enjoy, and get a good
laugh at. If anyone wants to submit a FAQ (only God knows why), that is fine too, but I will not add any on my
own.
